Water main shut-down set near Main and Grant Thursday
The Town of Waltham announced a water main shut-down near the Main Street and Grant Street intersection on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 7 p.m. to midnight. Residents in the affected area should run only cold water afterward until it runs clear.
The Town of Waltham announced Oct. 20 that a water main shut-down will take place Thursday, Oct. 22, near the Main Street and Grant Street intersection.
The shut-down is scheduled from 7 p.m. to midnight. The town said affected properties are shown on a map, highlighted in yellow and blue, included with the announcement.
After the shut-down ends, residents in the affected area should run cold water only until all the air is out of the lines and the water runs clear.
The town thanked residents for their patience and understanding.
