Waltham Youth Soccer's fall travel season is set to open with games on Sept. 12, and Waltham Youth Hockey is bringing back a power-skating clinic for next month.

WALTHAM -- Youth sports organizations in Waltham used the week to point families toward upcoming season dates.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Waltham Youth Soccer's website says "Fall 2026 Travel Begins September 12th," with "First travel games of the season start Saturday, September 12th." The club's schedule lists a full slate of matchups that day across age groups, including Waltham teams at Veterans Field against opponents from Chelmsford, Somerville, Burlington, Tewksbury, Melrose, Stoneham and Westford, plus road games at Everett and Westford. The site separately notes that practices for the Fall 2026 season begin Monday, Aug. 31.

Waltham Youth Hockey's website says Robby Glantz Power Skating "is returning to Waltham on Monday, September 14th through Wednesday, September 16th at Veterans Memorial Rink in Waltham." The organization says there will be three sessions running from 5 p.m. to 8:50 p.m., divided into age-appropriate groups assigned the week before the clinics begin, and that "limited spots are available at each age level." The site notes Glantz "has been working with our travel skaters in Waltham Youth Hockey for over five years."
