Waltham recorded 18 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, per South Middlesex Registry of Deeds data. Ten deeds had a sale price recorded, ranging from $690,000 to $3,150,000, with a median of $942,000. The month's top sale was 54 Sun St. at $3,150,000, followed by 17 Ash St. at $2,260,000. Eight of the 18 transfers, nearly half, listed no sale price; most of those matched grantor and grantee names, consistent with family trust or estate transfers rather than traditional sales. Four sales involved condominium units. The data offers no basis for comparing this period's pace to prior months.
