Waltham Home Sales Span $540,000 to $1.9 Million as Most Deeds Omit Price
The South Middlesex Registry of Deeds recorded 16 Waltham property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only five listed a sale price. Among those five, prices ranged from $540,000 for a Crescent Street condominium unit to $1,899,900 for a single-family home at 38 Hillcroft Rd., the period's highest-priced sale, sold by Mark and Jayne LaForest to Michelle L. and Robert G. Donnelly. The median among disclosed sales was $860,000. The other 11 transfers, most involving matching family names, trusts or LLCs, carried no stated price, a pattern typical of deed records rather than a market signal.
