Waltham Deeds Show Wide Price Gap, Most Sales Undisclosed

Waltham recorded 13 property transfers between July 24 and August 22, but only three deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $800,000 to $1,128,000, with a median of $1,050,000. The period's top recorded sale was 38 Greenwood Lane at $1,128,000, sold by Anita and James Alden as trustees to Rui Cheng and Zhen Liao. At least seven of the 13 deeds appear to be transfers within the same family or between an individual and a related trust, none of which disclosed a price. With price data available for less than a quarter of recorded deeds, the month's figures offer only a partial view of Waltham's housing market.
