Waltham Public Works Committee approves Big Belly Trash Container for railroad depot. The committee unanimously approved Councillor LaFauci's motion to request that DPW Director Chiasson identify suitable city locations for the installation, followed by approval of the full Resolution. The installation will address ongoing trash overflow at the Railroad Avenue train depot, where a previously installed barrel fills up regularly.
The committee also tabled several matters related to private-to-public road conversions pending further coordination with NStar and DPW.
