Two Winter Street office deals worth $30 million anchor active August deed recording in Waltham
The South Middlesex Registry of Deeds recorded 19 Waltham property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19. Of 16 sales with a recorded price, values ranged from $425,000 to $17,000,000, with a median of $933,000. The period's largest transaction was 860 Winter St., which sold for $17,000,000 on Aug. 26 to BXP Waltham Woods II LLC, which also bought the adjacent 870 Winter St. for $13,000,000 the same day. Three transfers, including two apparent family trust transactions, have a price not yet available. The data shows a broad spread across price tiers rather than concentration at any single level, with condominium units, single-family homes and one large commercial-scale acquisition all represented in the period's recorded deeds.
