Parks-Recreation Board approves four facility fee increases for 2026.

Parks Recreation Board · Meeting of January 7, 2026

Waltham Parks-Recreation Board votes to raise fees across four facility categories. Director Kim Hebert secured unanimous board approval for a $5 increase per two-hour block on indoor and outdoor recreation facilities, $5 hikes on non-resident pickleball reservations and pavilion rentals, and a $5 boost to summer program rates. The fee increases mark the first adjustments since 2022 and aim to offset increased employee hourly rates, utility costs, and supply tariffs.

The board also approved a pickleball policy change extending indoor time blocks from one hour to one and a half hours to align with outdoor permit duration.
