Waltham Historical Commission cleared Home Depot's special permit for a parking lot project at 100 First Avenue. William Proia represented Home Depot in seeking the approval, and the commission unanimously found that the proposed drywall storage and drive-through pick-up structure would have no impact on historical resources. The commission also unanimously approved funding to print a new tour brochure for the Boston Manufacturing Company Mill Village, part of its education and outreach mission.
Stonehurst, one of the commission's two historic properties, began restoration work in the east wing with additional projects planned for spring.
