Finance Committee approves $6M Green Street grant and Zamboni purchase.

Waltham Finance Committee approves $7.5 million in state grants for Green Street Connector project. The committee accepted a $6 million MassWorks Program grant and a $1.5 million HousingWorks Infrastructure Program grant on voice votes, with the Mayor noting the City expects to receive matching amounts and that the State will handle bridge work. In separate action, the committee approved a $152,129.27 appropriation for a new ice resurfacing machine at Veterans Memorial Skating Rink, a $143,000 transfer for DPW Water and Sewer Operations expenses through fiscal 2026 end, and a $106,872.50 appropriation for Pine Vale Road resurfacing.

All votes passed by voice.
