Economic and Community Development Committee tables three matters pending May review

WALTHAM — The Economic and Community Development Committee tabled three pending resolutions on April 21, all by voice vote, and scheduled departmental reviews for May 4. Chairman Hanley, with all members present, advanced a request from Councillor Harris for Department heads Dir Winn, Dir Feeley, and Dir Chiasson to brief the committee on the city's rat program, budget needs, and answer questions. Councillor King secured approval to invite the Mayor to address transportation options in North Waltham by May 18 and to have a representative from 22 Mohawks, a suicide prevention organization for veterans and first responders, speak at the May 4 meeting.
All three resolutions were tabled pending further discussion.
