Conservation Commission issues positive order for Beaver Brook stone wall project

Waltham Conservation Commission unanimously approves two environmental projects. The board issued a positive order of conditions for the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation's stone wall construction and walkway repaving at Beaver Brook Reservation on Waverley Oaks Road, following completion of DCR's legal review. The commission also issued a negative determination under the Wetlands Protection Act for the City of Waltham's Beaver Street roadway milling, overlay, and MBTA rail crossing improvements project, which will reduce impervious area by approximately 360 square feet and add a ten-foot shared use path.
Chair Alexander Sbordone, Vice Chair Bill Doyle, and four members attended; Lisa Limonciello was absent.
