Conservation Commission continues wetlands review of Totten Pond Road redevelopment.

Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 23, 2026

WALTHAM — The Waltham Conservation Commission continued a public hearing on a Notice of Intent for a redevelopment at 455 Totten Pond Road proposed by applicant 455 DIV TPR LLC. Wetland scientist Dr. Lars Carlson, presenting for the applicant, described work within the previously disturbed buffer zone with a net decrease to impervious area and improved storm water infiltration.

The commission heard public comment from abutters at 300 Winter Street and 296 Winter Street raising concerns about development density, fire safety, and storm water management. Chair Bill Doyle raised questions about overlapping state and federal permitting requirements, and the commission scheduled a site visit for April 30 before continuing the hearing to May 7.
