WALTHAM — The Waltham Conservation Commission authorized prospectus sign-off and continued a riverfront hearing to June 18. Chair Bill Doyle and Vice Chair Lisa Limonciello were authorized to sign off on 719-23 Main Street, a project outside the Commission's jurisdiction. At a public hearing on 32 Riverview Avenue, Conservation Agent Julia Abbott recommended approval of work to rebuild stairs, add a retaining wall, and expand a parking area in the Riverfront zone, noting the project will create 155 square feet of new impervious surface offset by porous replacements; the hearing was continued because the state has not yet assigned a file number.
The Commission also issued a Certificate of Compliance for 183-241 Crescent Street, marking a Charles River buffer restoration as an Invalid Order of Conditions because the applicant never commenced the authorized revegetation work.
