Long Term Debt Committee approved $462,755 for redesigned Police Station fire administration relocation plans.

Long Term Debt Committee · Meeting of October 19, 2026

WALTHAM — Long Term Debt Committee approved $462,755 for redesigned Police Station fire administration relocation plans. Purchasing Agent Crystal Philpott and Police Chief Kevin O'Connell presented the proposal, which relocates fire administration within the existing building, eliminating the need for additional construction space. Total project design costs are $901,226, with drug forfeiture funds covering the remainder beyond the authorized loan.

Ms. Philpott said the redesign will add a few months to the timeline, with the schedule dependent on DPW vacating the site. Councillor Hanley moved for approval, and the voice vote passed.
