WALTHAM — City Council approves $8.64 million loan for 600 Main Street acquisition. The unanimous roll call vote (14-0-1-1) advances the loan to second and final reading. In related municipal business, the Council accepted a $289,982 MassDOT construction grant and approved farm license agreements for Waltham Fields Community Farm, Green Rows of Waltham, Inc., and Healthy Waltham Farm, each by roll call of 14-0-1-1 with Councillor LeBlanc recused.
Cable Access funding was amended from $108,500.47 to $71,849.59 and approved. The Council also scheduled three joint zoning overlay district hearings for June 8, 2026, and tabled two zoning amendments for later consideration.
