Board of Health tables body works regulations pending law guidance

WALTHAM — Board of Health postpones body works regulations update pending law review. The board, meeting Wednesday, tabled discussion of proposed amendments that would require business owners to demonstrate English language proficiency, extending an existing requirement currently applied only to therapists. The Law Department is reviewing the proposed language changes.

In related business, members received updates on restaurant inspections and rat complaints, with the latter described as minimal. The board also rescheduled its April meeting from April 15 to April 22.
