Board hires Jessica Herwick as Recreation Supervisor
The Parks-Recreation Board voted unanimously to hire Jessica Herwick as Recreation Supervisor. Two finalists were selected from 19 candidates who interviewed for the position. Director Kim Hebert presented the candidates; all seven present board members voted in favor, with one absent.

WALTHAM — The Parks-Recreation Board voted unanimously to hire Jessica Herwick as Recreation Supervisor. Two finalists were selected from 19 candidates who interviewed for the position. Director Kim Hebert presented the candidates; all seven present board members voted in favor, with one absent.
The board also unanimously approved three recreation events: the Needham Soccer Memorial Day Tournament (May 28-31, 2027), the November Tournament-IFA (November 21-22, 2026), and the Inclusive Athletic Event-Waltham PD.
